I’ve built my reputation as a photographer on my images of people; at weddings, on theatre stages, in every–day situations. A large part of my skills comes from my personal, deep, empathetic participation to what happens in front of me (and with me) and this is why, since 2016, I've chosen to photograph catholic or eastern orthodox marriages only. Not to exclude someone but just to improve my work. Being a christian myself, I know what is unique to a christian wedding. I understand the gravity and joyfulness of the Holy Sacrament and believe it must be given due respect. I use a natural, photojournalistic approach, working with minimal interference, this make my work more challenging, but it will improve dramatically your wedding day experience and memories. A ceremony could become nothing but a moment in time, in our lifetime ... I know ... so I want my images to help
couples remember the graces they received and the covenant they made. I know your photos (my work) will last for generations and you're not just doing it for yourself but for your kids and grandkids. Although I'm based in Rome I attend photo-shoots all over Italy. God bless you.
Ho costruito la mia reputazione di fotografo grazie alle mie immagini di persone; durante i matrimoni, sul palcoscenico e nelle situazioni quotidiane. Gran parte di questa abilità è data dalla mia partecipazione personale, profonda, empatica a quanto accade davanti a me (e con me) ed è per questo motivo che, dal 2016, ho scelto di fotografare solo matrimoni cattolici ed ortodossi orientali. Non, certamente, per escludere qualcuno ma solo per migliorare il mio lavoro. Sono io stesso un cristiano e ben consapevole di quel che rende veramente unico tale matrimonio. Comprendo l'importanza e la gioia del Santo Sacramento e credo gli si debba riservare tutto il rispetto dovuto. Per questo motivo tengo sempre un approccio fotogiornalistico, naturale, discreto, attento ad evitare distrazioni ed interferenze e se questo rende il mio lavoro più difficile può veramente cambiare il vostro (ed il mio) modo di vivere, sentire e ricordare quel giorno ... perchè una cerimonia potrebbe diventare solo un momento nel tempo della nostra vita ed io, invece, vorrei che le mie immagini potessero aiutare gli sposi a ricordare l'impegno preso e le grazie ricevute e ... perchè so bene (voglio crederlo) che le vostre foto (il mio lavoro) dureranno per generazioni e che voi non lo state facendo solo per voi ma anche per i vostri figli e nipoti. Vivo a Roma ma sono disponibile per servizi fotografici in tutta l'Italia. Che Dio vi benedica.
